I like this game! When I first saw some screenshots in PCE-Fan magazine back in 1994 I knew that I must have this game. It's the typically NEC Avenue flicker fest with very simple controls. The graphics, when they don't flicker are nice even though the sprites are small. The sound is awesome, chinese folklore style.

Not as bad as I thought it looked or would actually be! You get the choice of 4 different Samurai's riding on horse-back in this scrolling slash 'em up (although there is very little difference between characters. The sprites are quite small, yes, but the backgrounds all look very nice. Sound and cinemas are also quite good. I enjoyed completing this one although it is quite unchallenging until the last level. Gameplay is quite repetitive as 2-D scrolling fighting games from the early 1990's often were...This game is a conversion of a 1989 arcade game after all. If you like games like Golden Axe and Final Fight I would recommend you get this, if the price is right.

What I really like is the nice graphics. It is a rather easy game, so if you are not too much into those types of games you will certainly appreciate it. Appears to be quite rare, so its expected to rise in price. What I can confirm is the flicker when the screen is loaded with sprites and animation.
